We were asked to create a simple visual explanation of the path, a patient who is identified as a candidate for a study, would take in order to be screened for that study.
The Proposal
Explain the patient screening process, with little to no copy using bright recognizable colors and graphics. This must be understood at a glance, with the observer able to recognize steps along the way easily.
The Outcome
This was being presented to professionals that knew most of the context to each step, just not exactly where they all fit into the whole screening process. Unlike a step-by-step instruction manual, which could lack the proper comprehension. We provided a visual roadmap which clearly illustrates all steps to follow, at a glance.
